Candle care:
- Every candle is fragile and prone to damage. Take care when handling.
- Due to its lower melting point, avoid leaving it in direct sunlight or close to heat. Before you relight your candle, trim the wick to about 1/4″.
- It’s quite normal for soy wax to appear frosted! Hot soap and water can be used to remove soy wax from surfaces.
- Because our candles are handmade, they may have a few small flaws. Colours can differ.
Lighting our candles: - Our candles are all designed for aesthetic purposes. To protect the candle and yourself, please make sure the following factors are taken into account if you do want to burn.
- Before lighting, please place it away from combustible objects and on a heat-safe surface.
Dip the candle’s wick into the melted wax to extinguish it, then straighten it. This will help you relight the wick the next time and stop it from smoking. - When lighting a candle, never leave it unattended.
- Avoid leaving in hot or sunny conditions.
- Burn time is 40 minutes on average. Various environmental conditions can cause this to change.
- Please keep in mind that the candles are hand-poured rather than mass-produced, and while every attempt is made to guarantee uniformity, each one will differ slightly. You might occasionally notice darker areas or “wet” spots in your container candles when using only natural soy wax. This is just a minor imperfection where the wax has not completely adhered to the glass; it is not a flaw. Your candle’s top may also seem a little uneven, which is another indication that the natural soy wax was hand-poured.
